He greeted me with a warm smile and firm handshake, This was the first time i met Emma's husband, Luciano. Very light skinned, tall, a healthy build and handsome, the 'perfect package' some would say. He was quiet at first and me too unsure what to say, then he asked what i did and i said i was studying computing mathematics at university. Little did i know Luciano was a sheer genius when it came to computers, we chatted and he went on to share just a tiny fraction of his knoledge with me. I knew he had a very bright future and he deserved a spot amongst the very ellite.

His life had just started with Emma, a new job, marriage and getting there own place was just the beginning. They were so happy together you could'nt of chosen a better couple.

Tragically we all came to learn Luciano had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, it shook the familys world, we can only imagine but a fraction of the pain Emma and Luciano felt. Such a Knoweldgable, kind, warm, down to earth person being so strong an positive, for most of us it would have been a daunting prospect, confusing also, but, for Luciano it wasnt so bad, for he knew where he was going, he knew that enternal life lay ahead.

I know you are at peace now Luciano and you await us all.

A Better Place


He’s in a better place right now

It's been over a year and a half now since the death of a close friend, a brother and a husband to my cousin Emma. I just would like to say, knowing Luciano was a honour and a privilege to have him part of the family. It was a very hard time for all the family and very hard for Emma, his wife at the period of time when he was physically suffering. But the amazing thing is, how God blessed the family by bringing us all together in unity to be there for both Luciano and Emma. Luciano's faith in the Lord was strong and he set an example to most of the members in the family on how to remain faithful and obedient to God right till the end. We will always miss you Luciano and always think of you, and never forget you. We know and have reassurance that you are now with our Saviour Jesus Christ and one day we shall all meet up agian, to glorify God's name. My heart goes out to my cousin, friend, and sister Emma, and just want to say you have always been in my prayers and i love you alot, and care for you alot and i pray God will always be there for you to protect you and guide you. May we all as a family always remain strong in unity in order to glorify God's name.

Foi um ano hoje que os nossos sonhos, as esperancas, os desejos foram querbrados. O dia que recebemos mal noticias.

Toda a esperanca tirado da nossas vidas.  Admiro voce por ser tao valente. Estou aqui um ano depois revivendo tudo, so que agora estou sem voce ao meu lado.

Enquanto eu respiro, nunca o deixarei ser esquecido. O seu carater, a sua personalidade, seu carinho, a sua inteligencia, as qualidades que fizerem voce, a sua natureza, nunca vou esquecer.  Ja que isto era o que fez voce especial de todo jeito, isto nunca pode perecer.

Voce me mostrou como amar, voce me ensinou tantas coisas na vida, voce que me fez a pessoa que sou hoje.

Sempre vai ter uma parte de voce imprimido em mim, e enquanto eu vivo, voce tambem viva.

Sei que voce andar ao meu lado, sorrindo, cumprindo novos sonhos seus.  Voce pode ser muito feliz agora porque voce merece ser feliz.

Para sempre eu carrego voce por dentro do meu coracao.
